Canyon Crafted Artisan Jewelry is made in Lyons, Colorado.

Living hillside with full sun exposure, we have been dreaming of having solar panels on our home.  We were able to get solar panels, and they were installed last fall.  Now my (dream) jewelry shop to be run on solar power baby!  In the shop, I am a one-lady show and use traditional metalsmithing techniques to create adornments to be passed down from each generation as heirloom pieces. From the sourcing of the stones to the elegant finishes, no detail is overlooked as I swiftly evolve as a designer and crafter.

There has been an obsession with jewels since a young age.  I remember stringing the wooden beads as a toddler, and at age 11 my mom bought me a bead loom.  In high school, there was the side hustle of macrame hemp necklaces, and later as a senior, I was introduced to silversmithing.  The skills that I have gained in apprenticeships, bench jeweler, teacher, camp counselor, and being a student are great.  Currentlty I study under a mentor and frequent his shop in Boulder and am so happy to be learning new skills.

This company in not new.  This is the next chapter of a company that goes back to roots of selling the hemp neclaces in the paking lots of Phish shows 25 years ago. I have always been connected to creating and selling jewelry, but it has never existed online.  Until now.  Canyon Crafted offers limited custom orders,and currently not in any retail locations.

My work is inspired by my love of nature and its patterns and textures, and my love of travelling with my family. Internationally or locally, observing other communities and cultures expands my veiw on everything and my creations.  Each piece I create is woven into the thread.
